Leucine is the most signiz cant of the three branched-chain amino acids (leucine, isoleucine, valine) when it comes to protein synthesis and muscle recovery as indicated in some studies. Adding leucine to post- workout meal prevents muscle breakdown and enhances protein synthesis. Our recovery mix contains added leucine to boost its ratio to the other BCAAs to 4:1:1. Taking BCAA Post-Workout after an intense workout can be benez cial in maintaining muscle growth and energy required to reduce muscle breakdown.
